Mission and Responsibilities

The West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office, Public Education Division is responsible for duties that include, but are not limited to, the development and implementation of public fire and life safety programs and activities statewide and the administration of the Fire-Safe Cigarette certification program for tobacco manufacturers.
