This course is five (5) days in duration and is designed to meet the needs of the entry-level fire inspector. The course is designed to meet or exceed the elements of NFPA 1031, Professional Qualifications for Fire Inspector and Plan Examiner, Chapter 3. The Fire Inspector I course will provide the tools necessary to obtain certification through National Board of Fire Service Professional Qualification (NBFSPQ) (ProBoard Certification). The course is designed around classroom lectures and field evolutions.

Safety Seminar, State Fire Academy, Weston
West Virginia State Firemen’s Association and the West Virginia University Fire Service Extension will sponsor a Safety Seminar on April 9 – 10, 2011 at the West Virginia State Fire Academy, Weston, WV. The speaker will be Fire Chief Alan V. Brunacini (Ret.) of the Phoenix Fire Department. The topics presented will focus on command safety and customer service. This should be an informative & educational experience to seasoned as well as novice fire service professionals.
