 WARNING - FIRE HAZARD RECALL – HAMILTON BEACH TOASTERS 

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a voluntary recall of the Hamilton Beach Toasters. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled toasters and contact the firm to receive instructions on how to obtain a free replacement toaster.

Facts:
- The Hamilton Beach recall involves model 22602 toasters.
- These were sold to mass merchandisers and department, grocery and home center stores nationwide from August 2011 through November 2011 for between $19 and $34.
- Hamilton Beach has received 5 reports of toasters being energized when first plugged into an outlet.
