 NFA Weekend - WV Fire Academy 

National Fire Academy Weekend at the
West Virginia State Fire Academy

February 27 – 28, 2010

WVU Fire Service Extension will be hosting two National Fire Academy (NFA) courses at the West Virginia State Fire Academy in Weston, WV on Saturday February 27 and Sunday, February 28, 2010.

The courses being offered are Leadership II: Strategies for Personal Success (LSII) and Fire Modeling (FM). The classes will be limited to 30 students each. The fee for this weekend is $25.00. The fee includes all course materials, lunch, and breaks. Due to National Fire Academy protocol, all registrations must be received by January 22, 2010.

Prerequisites for both classes are ICS 100, Introduction to ICS and ICS 200, Basic ICS. Please note that Leadership II: Strategies for Personal Success (LSII) is a 16 hour course and the Fire Modeling (FM) is a one day (8 hour) course. The instructors will be National Fire Academy instructors.

Lodging and directions to the West Virginia State Fire Academy are included. If you have not attended classes at the West Virginia State Fire Academy, please join us for a great weekend.
