State Fire Marshal to Cease Issuance of EVPs 

Notice to all Fire Chiefs:
SFMO To Cease Issuance of EVP’s for Personally Owned Vehicles

Effective March 21st, 2011, the State Fire Marshal’s Office will cease issuing Emergency Vehicle Permits for personally owned vehicles (POV’s) with Class A plates ONLY, in order to study a potential restructuring of the EVP program.   Please note that EVP’s for fire department apparatus will continue to be issued as usual during this evaluation process.
